I have just seen a report that yet another oil rig less than 20 miles west of the BP oil spill has exploded. Though this well was not producing at the time and there will be little to no environmental fallout, I believe we can expect to see more direct policies on government control of resource production in the near future. I have no reason to believe that these two events where, either, accidental, or unrelated.
