3 Surprising Reasons to Give Up Soda

By David Zinczenko with Matt Goulding Men's Health

America has a drinking problem. No, not booze. I'm talking about soft drinks. According to the Beverage Marketing Corporation, the average American guzzles 44.7 gallons of the sweet stuff every year. Not sure what 44.7 gallons looks like? It's about what you'd need to fill a small kiddie pool. But the truth is, you don't need me to tell you that soda isn't healthy. We all know that America’s drink of choice contributes to our country's… Continue

Proof that the Jews are not Isrealites

Research Proves Jews are not Israelites

Research Proves "Jews" are non-Israelite Asiatics!

In 1976 Random House published a book that should have hit Modern Christian Churches like a block buster, but instead they chose to totally ignore it. It dealt with the racial origin of the people in Communist and Christian countries throughout the globe, who call themselves "Jews," and whom many Churches (and Jews themselves) generally insist are "God's Chosen People," the… Continue

Nazis or Zionists

Moses Hess coined the term national socialism, commonly shortened to nazism, which he intended to use for Jewish nationalism - and this as early as 1862.

The connection between Zionism and German Nazism thus already existed from the beginning and would later on be developed further, both ideologically and politically.

Documents found by the German historian Klaus Polkehn, reveal an extensive co-operation between the leading Nazis and Zionist leaders.

This information… Continue

Zionism vs. the Bible

Zionism Verses the Bible

by Pastor Thomas Williamson

Much of our Christian emphasis on foreign policy in the Middle East today is based on the promise that God made to Abraham in Genesis 12:3, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

The first half of this verse is a promise that God made to just one person, Abraham. The original Hebrew is in the second person singular,… Continue

Germans Float Direct EU Control Over Greek Budget

Germany is proposing that debt-ridden Greece temporarily cede sovereignty over tax and spending decisions to a powerful eurozone budget commissioner before it can secure further bailouts, an official in Berlin said Saturday. The idea was quickly rejected by the European Union's executive body and the government in Athens, with the EU Commission in Brussels insisting that "executive tasks must remain the full responsibility of the Greek government, which is accountable before its citizens and its… Continue

4 risky places to swipe your debit card

By Claes Bell • Bankrate.com

Debit cards are different

Would you give a thief direct access to your checking account?

No? Unfortunately, you may be doing just that by regularly using your debit card. Debit cards may look identical to credit cards, but there's one key difference. With credit cards, users who spot fraudulent charges on their bill can simply decline the charges and not pay the bill. On the other hand, debit cards draw money directly from your checking…

The goal of every taxpayer is to make sure the IRS gets as little as possible. For that to happen, you need to take every tax deduction, credit or other income adjustment you can.

Here are 10 tax breaks -- some for itemizers only, others that any filer can claim -- that often get overlooked but that could save you some tax dollars.

1. Additional charitable gifts

Everyone remembers to count the monetary gifts they make to their favorite charities. But expenses incurred while doing charitable work often aren't counted on tax returns.

You can't deduct the value of your time spent volunteering, but if you buy supplies for a group, the cost of that…

War on the Obese aka Blaming the Victim

The topic of obesity is popular in mainstream media. We are constantly warned of the dangers of being overweight, and while many groups have been targeted for 'health advice' in the past, it seems those labeled as obese bear the brunt. While having more weight than one is physically comfortable with can be unhealthy, the fact that our governments and media have chosen to take a parental role by constantly telling us what we should and shouldn't look like, should give us pause. To add insult…

Gingrich vows to establish a colony on the moon

This would be so cool if it happened.

COCOA, Fla. — Newt Gingrich is promising to establish a permanent base on the moon by 2020 if he's elected president.

Gingrich, the former House speaker, told an overflow crowd gathered on Florida's space coast Wednesday that he wants to develop a robust commercial space industry in line with the airline boom of the 1930s. He also wants to expand exploration of Mars.

The pronouncements appeared to thrill the…

Iranian’s Harassing US Ships by Craig Ennis

The recent threats and harassment from Iranian patrol boats are a distraction at best. The use of these speed boats against a fully armed and fully capable US Warship is to deflect attention away from the work on their nuclear program.

These actions by Iran are comparable to the nuisance of a fly. By taunting and harassing US ships it shows how little of an effect they have on us. The Iranians have backed themselves into a corner, at some point in time they will need to get out of it.…

Marines Urinating on Afghanistan Dead by Craig Ennis

I ask myself why did they do that? Was it hatred or was it a lapse in judgement? What it was is disgraceful, disrespectful and all around inhumane. I have seen the beheading of Daniel Pearl and Nick Berg these are the actions of our enemies it’s not ours.

America is a compassionate country when we send soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines to foreign shores we land as a liberating force. I fully understand the strains and confusion and flood of emotions that accompanies combat. As the…

By Philip Pullella

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Benedict said Monday that gay marriage was one of several threats to the traditional family that undermined "the future of humanity itself."

"Most people need at least seven hours, but the average American sleeps only 6.9," says Breus, who also recommends taking a relaxing lavender bath before bed. Top 10 DIY mistakes by home 'handymen'

By Pat Curry • Bankrate.com

The first thing any savvy do-it-yourselfer should take into account when considering a new project is that it will probably take twice as much time and three times as much money as you thought.

Or maybe it's three times as long and twice as much money.

Either way, there's a good reason why it's true: DIYers make mistakes.

Lots of them.

But you can learn a lot from mistakes. For example, whatever it was that my husband did to make…
