Guns and God
What causes the neighbor loving Christian to turn to a tool efficient in killing? When do Christians change the lesson of giving one’s life to save it, to saving one’s life by taking another's?
To what point will Christian’s allow fear turn them into the taker of lives instead of the saver of souls? At what point will the power not be in the bible to save, but instead in the bullet?
Is the Church a house, and sanctuary for the spirit of God where one is protected from the was of the world? How does a gun or armed men effect this spirit and the power of protection from this divine spirit?
For those who believe in an everlasting Heavenly State, why would one fight against an opportunity to go, especially while worshipping the Creator? Isn’t the goal of using a gun or armed personnel to deter a villain by instilling fear, but doesn’t the God of the Bible teach that only thee shall be feared?
Does the belief in Divine Order overtake the thought that those lost in the school shootings could have been saved, for was it not God's will? Does this mean that we believe that guns can protect us from the will of God?
What happens when fear overrides the doctrine in the minds of men?
